White Tree Fine Art was created to promote the work of Ethan and Nikki White. This includes choreography, performance, paintings, sculptures, outreach, design, and their newest creation 'Prima the Ballerina'- the first in a series of children's books, a matching music CD, and an interactive book that serve as lesson plans to teach dance and movement through imaginative stories and engaging activities (http://primatheballerina.com). Ethan and Nikki met while dancing for Smuin Ballet, a professional ballet company in San Francisco. After both dancing professionally with a multitude of companies for 10+ years, they decided to embark on their own choreographic and performance careers.
They were on Paula Abdul's CBS show 'Live to Dance' in 2011 and were one of the top 3 finalists, launching them into the commercial dance world working for companies such as Sony and Dell. They've also recently been recruited to compete in the Exhibition Division of Ballroom Competitions, hailed as the next world champions, and have continued making appearances as guest performers and teachers around the country. The next step in their performance career is premiering their one act show "Before Romeo".
